Holistic Therapy - A Whole-Person Approach to Therapy
-
Holistic therapy is a style of counselling that looks at the whole person (your mind, emotions, body and daily life) instead of focusing on one symptom. For example, stress can affect your mood, sleep, energy and focus all at once. Working on these areas together can lead to changes that feel more complete and last longer.
-
Traditional talk therapy mainly focuses on thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Holistic psychotherapy includes these, and also looks at how sleep, movement, nutrition and daily routines affect your mental health. Sessions may combine evidence-based talk therapy with practical mind-body strategies.
-
Depending on your needs, it may include evidence-based talk therapy; mind-body strategies such as breathing, relaxation and grounding exercises; exploring the deeper patterns behind what you are feeling rather than only the symptoms; and support with daily habits that build stability and resilience.
-
It can be a good fit if working on one area of your life has not been enough, or if you want therapy that helps you cope now and keep growing over time. A free consultation is an easy way to find out.
