Hi! I’m Kushmeet!
As a first-generation Canadian, mental health is something I'm very passionate about. My lived experiences have given me a greater understanding of the stigma associated with mental health in various communities and the significant effects it can have on individuals and society as a whole. This awareness is one of the many reasons I have been drawn to the field of mental health. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Guelph and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

My approach focuses on establishing a secure, accepting environment where you can be yourself. I believe in working collaboratively with clients, empowering them to take control of their journey while I provide guidance and support. I focus on practical, solution-oriented strategies to help manage stress, build confidence, and improve emotional well-being. With an emphasis on empathy and understanding, I work at your pace, encouraging growth and self-discovery in a comfortable and supportive environment. Together, we’ll navigate challenges and focus on your unique strengths to help you achieve meaningful change.

How I Want You to Feel After a Session
After each session, I want my clients to leave feeling heard, supported, and relieved as if they can take a big breath and release some of the burden they've been bearing. Similar to the sensation of being with someone who genuinely understands and values you, I hope that sessions bring clarity and comfort!
